library

Library

i went to the library with my group to go print of my label and we was given a tour .We found out that :
-Our cards have two pound on them and for a coloured print (CMFD) it costs five pence and for a black and white print (MFD)   it costs two pence
- Also we now know you can take out books and DVDs for 2 weeks and renew if no one else wants it. and if you forget someone in the library will email you to remind you to give it back.

fonts i might use for my lable

these are fonts we tested for our product '' Good for you shampoo '' to make our own label to go on the product . I couldn't download the fonts on to my font library so i pressed print screened and pasted it on word and cropped it so its just the font and not the rest of the web page.

This is my label, i used the second font on my list and added other images from google to make it my own.

Freaky adverts

Freaky adverts

ICE CREAM ADVERT :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx4jEIZyTZU

This is an Japanese commercial for ice cream. The company selling the ice cream is called little baby's. I think this is a freaky advert because the guy in the advert is made of ice cream and is eating him self.

MC DONALD'S  ADVERT :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ob0GbuUr8wc

This is an advert for McDonald's the advert was supposed to get kids excited for McDonald's but instead it scared kids from going to McDonald's because of the company's mascot Ronald McDonald appearing as creepy to the children.

FRAGILE CHILDHOOD COMMERCIAL  :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwdUXS94yNk

This is an advert to try to get adults to stop drinking near there kids because there kids will see them as these monsters. I think this is creepy because because if you are drunk you don't change into something else.

Our add

We decided to either have a clown that sells shampoo or a clown that sells food but the clown that sells food was too similar to the McDonald's adverts because there mascot was a clown. So we decided to use the clown sell shampoo. Our slogan is ''shampoo that's good for you''  we came up with our slogan on :

this website shows what rhymes with the word you choose.

we got our idea from an advert for shampoo called: Girls shampoo isn't made for real men !

ROLES IN THE ADD :

Lia : is going to be the clown
Props for Lia : Clown mask, wig

Damen : is going to be the college student
Props for Damen : headphones, phone, shampoo

Tom : I will be filming
Props for Tom : Camera

camera angles

Rule of thirds
View point
Leading lines

-Rule of thirds states than an photograph is most pleasing when its subjects or regions are composed along imaginary lines which divide the image into thirds — both vertically and horizontally.

-Before photographing your subject, take time to think about where you will shoot it from. Our viewpoint has a massive impact on the composition of our photo, and as a result it can greatly affect the message that the shot conveys. Rather than just shooting from eye level, consider photographing from high above, down at ground level, from the side, from the back, from a long way away, from very close up, and so on

-When we look at a photo our eye is naturally drawn along lines. By thinking about how you place lines in your composition, you can affect the way we view the image, pulling us into the picture, towards the subject, or on a journey "through" the scene. There are many different types of line - straight, diagonal, curvy, zigzag, radial etc - and each can be used to enhance our photo's composition.

Background
-How many times have you taken what you thought would be a great shot, only to find that the final image lacks impact because the subject blends into a busy background?

The human eye is excellent at distinguishing between different elements in a scene, whereas a camera has a tendency to flatten the foreground and background, and this can often ruin an otherwise great photo.
Thankfully this problem is usually easy to overcome at the time of shooting - look around for a plain and unobtrusive background and compose your shot so that it doesn't distract or detract from the subject.

Depth
Depth- Because photography is a two-dimensional medium, we have to choose our composition carefully to conveys the sense of depth that was present in the actual scene. You can create depth in a photo by including objects in the foreground, middle ground and background.
Another useful composition technique is overlapping, where you deliberately partially obscure one object with another.
The human eye naturally recognises these layers and mentally separates them out, creating an image with more depth.

looking at ads

FREAK OR UNIQUE!

slogan task
we decided to all choose a slogan and vote on the best one, and we ended up with Young at Heart which represented that the old can
still be young at heart.

advertising theory
advertising is to make you buy their product they do this by, if its a charity advert they'll play sad music and use little colour to made a depressing effect.
First presentation

our task was to make an advert for trainers to sell to 30 years+ business men. We decided to make smart trainers which were more comfortable then everyday leather business shoes, which we called supreme business shoes.

Our mascot was called Bob and we showed him wearing the trainers when he was old and young which we thought made him look happy being old as when he was young. our slogan was young at heart which made the 30+ feel young at heart again . .... banner add.
